Little Romantic Things Can Have a Big Impact!

One of the greatest things you can do for the one you love is to surprise that person with little things; things that don’t take much time at all, but can put a BIG smile on your lovers face. :D

Give him or her something they least expect, where they least expect and when they least expect it. This just adds to the excitement of them getting something.

Happy Smiling

To give you an example, I had done something for my wife years ago. Probably somewhere in the neighborhood of four or five years ago. I had even forgotten I’d done it!

I had been doing some painting around the house, was washing up my supplies in the basement and had a little bit of paint on one of my paint brushes. And I simply took it and painted a few words on the basement wall. It was very light. The paint was white against a dirty beige background. But it was enough to see if you really looked at.

All these years she didn’t notice what I had written on that wall until just the other day when I was with her down there. I had written, “I love Nicole”. With paint…

And she just lit up like you wouldn’t believe. She had a smile from ear to ear. And as you can imagine I made some brownie points… ;)

Another example is I had written the same exact thing with a white stone on our sidewalk in the back yard. And I told her the night before to make sure she looked where she was walking the next day. She was very confused by that statement and tried to figure out what I had done… I didn’t break!

The next day she did discover it.. and you guessed it! A great response.

It’s these little things. It’s a little romantic things that you do. They don’t seem like a lot but can make a huge difference in your relationships.. it can impact more than something that was expected or planned.. it can even cost nothing.

What have you done? Have you done anything similar… anything that was simple in nature but got a huge reaction? Post a comment below! I’d love to hear about it.

I have been having doubts and reservations about my relationship. My girlfriend always makes comments that I am not romantic enough and do not show her the attention she needs. The truth is that I am afraid to fall again due to the reprocussions of past failed relationships. But now I know that I have to let that go. Subsequently, I faced the music and typed into google search engine “How to be romantic.” She was so surprised just to see my effort of learning to be romantic and that brought the biggest smile on her face. So I would like to thank you Joe Taylor for your website and the fact that the little things you do for a loved one makes all the difference in the world.
    Peace, Love, and Happiness.

    Thanks Again!
